Well that was quick.  The Ultimate Fighters season 10 “star” lasted all of three shows.  On last nights episode, Kimbo Slice went down to Roy “Give me a whopper” Nelson.  For a fight that was so highly anticipated, it’s an understatement to say that it was a disappointment.  For two rounds, we watched Roy Nelson lay his big “moon” belly, as Rampage called it, on top of Kimbo’s head while punching him in the skull with what seemed to be the weakest punches ever thrown inside the octagon.  I mean seriously, Stephen Hawking could of thrown better punches. But luckily for Roy, his “sit on him and tap him in the forehead” strategy worked because now Kimbo is eliminated, or is he?  Previews for next weeks episode shows Marcus Jones, aka Big Baby, being just that, a big baby. 

 From the looks of it, Marcus passes out in the house, which would open the door to a Kimbo return and you know what?  I’m begging for a Kimbo Slice return.  Not because he’s a great fighter,(because he’s not, get him on the ground and he melts) but because Kimbo is a great guy.  I admit, before the show, I was a Kimbo hater.  But now, after seeing him on TUF10, he’s won me over.  For a guy who was thrown into the spotlight as MMA’s next big thing, he’s extremely humble, polite and eager to learn.  As he said himself, he doesnt care about all the media attention and fame because he’s knows that he’s not there yet and his work is not done to become a truly successful MMA fighter.  Well Kimbo, I admire you for that and I’m rooting for you to get another chance.  Let’s just hope that next time you fight someone a little slimmer around the waist because as Rampage said, “His belly was like the moon was on top of you.”  “How do you get the moon off of you?”
